End User License Agreement

This agreement governs your use of DockMaster. We've written it in plain English — no obfuscation, no buried gotchas.

Last revised: February 2026 — Effective immediately upon purchase.
1

License Grant

DockMaster is sold as a one-time, perpetual software license. Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable (except as noted below) right to install and use DockMaster on up to two (2) personal Mac computers owned and operated by you, the individual purchaser.

This license is for personal use only. Commercial deployment across a team, organization, or enterprise requires a separate commercial license. Please contact us at Dockmasterpro@gmail.com for enterprise pricing.

You may transfer your license to a new Mac by deauthorizing the old machine from within the app's Settings panel. License transfers to other individuals are not permitted without express written consent.

2

Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund policy from the date of purchase. If DockMaster doesn't work as expected on your system, or you simply change your mind, contact us at Dockmasterpro@gmail.com within 14 days and we will issue a full refund.

To request a refund, include your order confirmation number in your email. Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days to your original payment method.

After the 14-day window, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We are a small team and we stand behind our product — we will always work with you to resolve issues before processing a refund.

3

Privacy First

We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. DockMaster operates entirely locally on your device. No usage analytics, no crash reporters, no telemetry of any kind is transmitted to our servers — because we don't have servers that receive your data.

Your clipboard history, shelved files, and window interaction patterns remain on your local disk at all times. Specifically, clipboard data is stored in ~/Library/Caches/DockMaster/ and is never synced to iCloud or any third-party service without your explicit opt-in.

The sole exception is the license activation check, which transmits only your license key hash to verify validity. No personal information, hardware identifiers beyond a salted device fingerprint, or usage data is included in this request.

4

Limitation of Liability

DockMaster is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall DockMaster or its authors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the software — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from this agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

5

Updates & Support

Your one-time purchase includes one (1) year of free updates from the date of purchase. After that period, updates are available at a discounted upgrade price. You are never required to upgrade — your purchased version will continue to function.

Support is provided via email at Dockmasterpro@gmail.com. We aim to respond to all inquiries within one business day. Support covers bugs, installation issues, and general usage questions for the current supported version.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address and posted with an updated 'Last Revised' date below.

6

System Requirements

DockMaster requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later. It runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel-based Macs as a Universal Binary. Older macOS versions (13 Ventura and below) are not supported.

Certain features require explicit macOS permissions: Screen Recording (for live window previews) and Accessibility (for Dock hover detection and window management). These permissions are requested at first launch and can be revoked at any time from System Settings.

You are responsible for ensuring your system meets these requirements before purchase. If your Mac does not meet the minimum requirements, you may request a refund under our 14-day refund policy.

7

Intellectual Property

DockMaster, including its source code, user interface design, documentation, icons, and the DockMaster name and logo, are the intellectual property of the DockMaster team and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

Your license grants you the right to use the software. It does not grant you ownership of the software or any of its components. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of DockMaster, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You may not redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or resell DockMaster or any portion thereof without prior written consent.

8

Free & Pro Tiers

DockMaster is available as a free download with limited functionality. The free tier includes core features such as Hover & Peek window previews and basic clipboard history, subject to usage limits.

DockMaster Pro (£14.99, one-time payment) unlocks the full feature set including unlimited clipboard history, OmniSync cross-device sync, Edge Snapping, and the Smart File Shelf without capacity limits.

Free tier limits are subject to change between versions. We will not retroactively restrict features that were previously available in your installed version without an update.

9

Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling DockMaster and deleting all copies from your devices.

We may terminate or suspend your license if you are found to be in material breach of these terms — for example, redistributing the software, circumventing license restrictions, or using the software in a way that violates applicable law.

Upon termination, your right to use DockMaster ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

10

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

11

Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the DockMaster team regarding the use of DockMaster and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
